The two will be in the spotlight at tomorrow night's gala Military Ball which cadet officers in charge believe will draw the largest attendance on record. p. 1 -- Staff enjoys meetings now: it's a pleasure now to hold speech science departmental meetings, especially if they are being held in the newly equipped room of Dr. Martin F. Palmer, director at the Flo Brown Memorial Laboratory. Seated with Dr. Palmer from left to right are Maxine Nevins, Courtney Osborne, Ruth Jardine, and Jane Brosius. p. 1 -- Waddell at Texas U.: Kent Waddell, '37, is spending a year at the University of Texas. p. 2 -- Dancers rehearse for recital: With final dress rehearsals scheduled only a few days away, last minute practice is being given dances for the recital of modern dance to be given in the University Auditorium, Tuesday night, Dec. 12. The program is an annual affair and is under the direction of Hildegrade Lewis, choreographer. The dancers pictured above from left to right are: Ruth Strickland, Betty Van Arsdale, Carolee Wilkins, Ramona Branson, Jackie Murphy, and Norma Webb. p. 3 -- Veteran guard: Meuli Curry, dependable guard of the Shocker cage team, is just one of several men, who Coach Hennigh is counting on heavily, that are on the sick list before the season begins. p. 4
