Letters from Rebecca P. Pickering Walker at Greenbank, Massachusetts to John Grimes Walker, 1865 May 30-1865 June 13

These letters include discussion of Rebecca's engagement to John Grimes Walker, her worries and concerns of his departure for duty, and visits from relatives. In the letter of June 8, she writes "I must not forget to ask a question or two by way of proving my Yankee birth." The June 11 letter addresses the death of President Abraham Lincoln and other topics.
