Abstract
The two primary purposes of this paper are:
1.) To prove the Dirichlet Theorem: For any integers a < m
such that (a,m) = 1, there are infinitely many primes p
satisfying p = a (mod m).
2.) To discuss briefly the order of the ideal class group of
an algebraic number field.
