Description
Program for memorial service, "An Expression of Sorrow," held Monday, October 5, 1970, in Cessna Stadium at Wichita State University. University and community joined "in this service to express their common sorrow resulting from the crash on October 2, 1970 of a plane carrying members of the football team, University administration, and friends of the University." Names of those on the flight are listed on page 2. Among the participants in the service were student body president Mike James, university president Clark D. Ahlberg, Wichita mayor A. Price Woodard, Kansas governor Robert B. Docking, sports commentator Gus Grebe, student Diana Carothers and football player Kelly Cook.
