Photograph(s): New instructor: Mr. Earle K. Davis, taking his Ph.D. degree from Princeton, N.J., University in June, has been appointed by the University Board of Regents to succeed Dr. Ralph. B. Crum as head of the English department. His undergraduate days were at Monmouth Ill., College. p. 1 -- President: Glenn Moss, Alpha Gamma Gamma, was elected president of the Y.M.C.A. at the meeting of the group last week. Mr. Moss who has ben [sic] active in the organization for some time, sponsored the Hippodrome this year. p. 1 -- Hostess to Dames: Mrs. W. M. Jardine is one of the hostesses for the University Dames Guest Day Tea to be held this afternoon in the Jardine home at 1015 N. Broadway. p. 3 -- Plans dinner: Miss Mary Katherine Gelbach is in charge of the Journalism Dinner, Monday, May 20, at the Innes Tea Room. This dinner is an annual affair. p. 3
