Description
Letter to Cardinal Fesch from Eugene de Beauharnais in French with small slip of paper explaining the letter in typed English, which states the name of his baby daughter as Princess Hortense Eugenie Napoleonne. There is also a translation of the letter in English included which is addressed to ''My dear Uncle,'' announcing the birth of a baby girl whom he called the ''Vice-Regal Princess.'' A biography of Eugene de Beauharnais is also included.
