Abstract
This paper examines and compares the characteristics
of Psychiana, from its inception to its demise, with the typology of revitalization
movements provided by Anthony F.C. Wallace. It includes information
from Robinson’s personal manuscript collection as well as excerpts from a book
by Charles S. Braden, professor of History and Literature of Religions at Northwestern
University, who personally interviewed Robinson.
