Description
Article previews fundraising event for WSU Football memorial fund to be held November 28, 1970, at Henry Levitt Arena (now Charles Koch Arena) and telecast to many U.S. cities. The following day a plane carrying Marshall University's football and supporters crashed. killing everyone on board. The "Night of Stars" effort was quickly expanded to include Marshall University.
