Digital copy of audio cassette made from 5" audio sound recording tape recorded May 5, 1961. Original box for reel labeled "Jane Berry Song Collection." Jane Berry recorded "Side 1: Fiddle Tunes" performed by Dutch Noah (fiddle) and Cliff "Slim" Peterie (guitar): Tennessee Wagoner, Arkansas Traveler, Buffalo Girls, The Fiddlers Rag, The Girl I Left Behind, Turkey in the Straw, Irish Wash Woman, Irish Wash Woman (different version), Soldiers Joy, The Battle of New Orleans (8th of January), The Mockingbird, Black Mountain Rag; and "Side 2: Songs" sung and played by Dutch Noah and Cliff Peterie (mandolin and guitar): Little Old Sod Shanty on the Plains, The Wreck of the Number Nine, The Convict and the Rose, The Wreck of Old 97, The Mystery of Number Five, The Cowboy's Heaven, Someone will Love Me in Heaven; and three songs performed by Mrs. Parish: Little Rosewood Casket, Go Tell Aunt Rhodie, Old Missouri Hound Dog.
