Description
Exterior view of the Innes retail store at its first location, 123 North Main Street in the Ferrell Building. Established in 1897 by Walter P. Innes with the backing of his uncle, George Innes. After the turn of the century the store was located at the northeast corner of Lawrence (now Broadway) and Douglas Avenue. In 1928 the business moved to a new, permanent building on the northwest corner of Lawrence and William.
