Description
From the prologue: "The master plan examines the learning environment, the spatial organization and function of the campus built environment, landscape and open space systems, circulation and parking, community connections, and overall conditions of the campus within the context of a comprehensive and integrated plan." The plan organized the campus into three general segments: Active Corridor; Academic Corridor; and Arts and Sciences Corridor. It consists of three chapters, an appendix and numerous renderings and schematic drawings. The date "1926" in the caption on page 10 is incorrect. The correct date of the "future campus" drawing is 1928, per minutes of University of Wichita Board of Regents that document interaction with the plan's creators, Denver landscape architects McCrary, Culley and Carhart, from December 1927 through April 1928.
