Abstract
A DIORAMIC DISPLAY OF THE NORTH REDOUBT
The works for my graduate program are submitted as partial fulfillment for a Master of Arts degree. This program consists of the building and subsequent display of the two dioramas depicting the North Redoubt.
There is very little written on the construction of museum displays, especially on the construction of dioramic displays. It is my purpose, in PART I, to fill this gap partially with an instruction manual and a guide paper for the construction of any diorama.
PART II is concerned with the historical background of the subject matter used as the theme in the dioramas.
PARTS III and IV are field reports supporting the historical background. PART III is limited to the redoubt proper and PART IV describes the excavation on the area outside the perimeter of the fort.
