In the recent years, supply chain has become longer, larger, more complex, and more vulnerable to disruption. As a result, practitioners and researchers are paying more attention to supply chain risk management. COVID-19 has impacted the supply chain negatively and this pandemic has made the organizations more aware to increase resilience for their post COVID supply chain. The objective of this paper is to systematically review the extant literature by analyzing over 750 articles from the Scopus (www.scopus.com) and Google Scholar (https://scholar.google.com) to find out (1) the impact of proactive risk mitigation strategy on supply chain operational efficiency (2) the impact of supply chain operational efficiency on resilience and (3) the moderating impact of post risk mitigation strategy on the relationship between supply chain operational efficiency and supply chain resilience. Moreover, in this paper, we will conduct a comprehensive bibliometric overview and visualize the existing research field to indicate gaps and underdeveloped areas of research on the supply chain disruption management. The findings in this paper can be helpful with future research direction.
