Abstract

This paper examines the effect of wall temperature on the Large Eddy Simulation of hypersonic flow over a flat plate at Mach 8. The newly introduced Ht&p method is used as the recycling-rescaling method. The resulting velocity profiles are in close agreement with the Law of the Wall theory. The Reynolds Analogy Factor is in the range of the experimental data in the literature. The Morkovin, Huang, extended Strong Reynolds Analogies and turbulent Prandtl number are not constant in the boundary layer but are close to the expected values from theory. © 2024 by Nadia Kianvashrad.
