Abstract
The instrumental music program in a school should have a threefold purpose. The following are its aims and objectives:
- to include in its program all students interested in participating
- to teach the appreciation and enjoyment of music J. to develop appropriate musical skills for those who may choose some field of music as a profession. These objectives can best be accomplished by the use of the best music literature available.
