Construction on the new Math Building, on the east side of the campus, progresses with the weather. Construction crews are hoping to have the building ready for occupancy by next fall. p. 1 -- Dr. Harlow Shapley. p. 1 -- YWCA held the annual Christmas tree trimming party Monday night in Jardine Hall. Decorating the tree in the rotunda were, from left Suzanne Evans, Elaine Davis, co-chairmen for the event, Alison Comstock and Sharon McNeil. Afterwards a party was held in Dean Josephine Fugate's office. p. 2 -- Dr. Eugene Savaiano, head of the Spanish department, looks over titles which he brought back to the States with him from Spain. The Savaiano family traveled through Europe for 14 months. p. 3
