Description

This contains five letters from Ernest Perceval. The letter dated June 7, 1855, to his cousin states it was an eventful evening as they had attacked Sevastopol. June 8, 1855, Perceval writes the French were happy to say they still held Mamelon. In the letter dated June 8, 1855, he writes to his mother stating he is safe. June 15, 1855, he writes to his father describing the situation including a drawing showing how they advanced. In another letter to his father, he reports that he has received money and feels they will have to spend the winter in Sevastopol. In the last letter, writes his mother that he received her letter that morning.
