dc.description.abstractAs we age we are at increased risk for social isolation – whether we age in community settings, or in congregate care settings. Computers are a tool which can enable us to maintain communication with family members and friends at a time in our lives when we have the greatest need for close relationships. The present symposium contributes to the growing body of research on older persons’ use of computers.en_US
