Abstract
In this model, relay node assists the transmission from source node to the destination. The channel gain hsd, hsr, hrd are zero mean circular Gaussian. And the noise at relay and destination node is assumed i.i.d. zero-mean circular Gaussian with variance σ2. Since the cooperative system involves the product of Gaussian random variables, which is no longer Gaussian, we cannot use the conventional way to get the channel capacity. In this paper, author proposed a new method to get the channel capacity.
