Acetohydroxamate complexes of some divalent metal ions
Studies of the stabilities of the metal complexes of
acetohydroxarnic acid have been limited to those of iron(III) (1,6)
and copper(II) (8) . The present investigation was undertaken in
an attempt to establish the relative stabilities of the acetohydroxamate
complexes of some divalent metal ions. Jannik Bjerrwn’s
(2) well- known titration method seemed to be best suited for this
study.
