    Abstract
The subject of this thesis deals with the singular manners in which the painters of this unique epoch of painting affected contemporary painting and specific painters. To establish the full meaning of these particular influences, the first requisite is an examination of the artists involved and their lives, in as much as they contributed factors molding their approach to painting.
