Abstract
This research implements a descriptive approach in preparing a theoretical framework for reengineering administrative processes. The objective of this work is to identify the administrative processes to be considered and to quantify the benefits of applying the re-engineering processes. A field study was performed to determine the feasibility of applying the proposed framework in companies operating in Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The study included a selected sample of projects from various service and manufacturing sectors. The results supported the need for re-engineering the administrative processes to help achieve tangible improvements in efficiency, productivity, and profitability.
