Evidence seems to indicate that there is a definite need in the senior high schools in Kansas for improvement in the physical education programs for physically handicapped boys. Although data on the number and types of physically handicapped boys are incomplete, there is sufficient information to conclude that there is a large number or physically handicapped boys in Kansas senior high schools whose rehabilitation needs are not being met. Further, it is thought that in most instances a constructive program can be created to help meet their needs.
