In addition, two princesses were named in this year's contest. They are Cindy Rader, Delta Delta Delta, and Jane Clemmons, Grace Wilkie Hall. p. 1 -- A shaggy growth is displayed by Bearded Man Tom Jovalis, Pi Alpha Pi. The Reapers' sponsored contest winner was announced at the Homecoming Dance, which was held in the Lassen Hotel Ballroom, Saturday. p. 1 -- Chalking up a second consecutive first place trophy, Delta Delta Delta sorority led the women's division of house decorations. Theme for the group's decorations was 'The Pied Piper of Wichita Leads the Bulldogs to Doom.' p. 1 -- A weeping bulldog predominated in the winning men's division house decorations. Phi Upsilon Sigma with a theme of 'His Master's Voice' won the first place trophy. p. 1 -- Dan Phillips. p. 2 -- The Hane Goshi, or spring hip throw, is expected by Walter Hawk on his opponent, Clay Cox. p. 3 -- A Drake man maintains his hold on the football despite three WU attackers in the game Saturday afternoon.
