Miss Kasparek will study in the Phillipine [sic] Islands. p. 3 -- Freshman debater Shepard Fountaine is shown admiring the trophy which he won for his oratory 'Quo Vadis Blackman?' He delivered the oratory at the Emporia State Teachers College Debate Tourney recently. p. 5 -- New Air Force ROTC cadet officers, left to right, are Bob Hamilton, inspector general; Brenton Myers, chief of staff; Jack Wolf, deputy commander; Kenneth Harper, wing commander; Kenneth Cross and Bob Argumedo, group commanders. p. 6 -- The appointment of Mrs. Kathy Rhodes as society editor of the Sunflower was announced, Tuesday, by Miss Joan O'Bryant, chairman of the Student Board of Publications. Mrs. Rhodes, an Education senior, is the present holder of the Wichita Press Women’s Scholarship. She is a member of Mortar Board, senior women’s honorary organization, and is secretary of Student Council.
