    Photograph(s): "Wichita - Air Capital" was spelled out by 59 bands from Kansas and Oklahoma, during Band Day ceremonies, Saturday afternoon at Veterans Field. The approximately 3,800 high school students played three selections together, the National Anthem, the United States Air Force March, and Band Day, U.S.A., the latter composed by Forest Buchtel and dedicated to James Kerr, University band director, and the University of Wichita's Band Day. p. 1 -- Angel Flight sweethearts are (from left to right) Vicki Basham, Judy Crabtree, Jody Evans, Annette Wiehl, and Joyce Phipps. With them is Cadet Col. Yale Davis. The sweethearts were selected by the cadet corps of Air Force ROTC. p. 2
