Jardine serving as president of the University of Wichita, the school is rapidly forging to new fields in its part of the nation. p. 1 -- [Al] Gebert. p. 1 -- Loy Wood. p. 2 -- Here are five Goldbugs from Oklahoma City that will aid the Sooner team tonight in an effort to get revenge for a Wichita victory last year. In the upper left is "Spec" Wayland, sophomore fullback for El Reno, who is expected to see much service this year. On the right is Orville Tuttle, fighting guard from Bartlesville, who was one of the best defensive and offensive men in Oklahoma last year. at the bottom, Coach Toby Greene is talking to Bruce Piper and Wayland, two backfield men. p. 3 -- Leonard Dugan, center, was an all conference selection lead last year by all coaches and is very likely to repeat the honor this year. p. 3 -- Maurice Marlin, guard on the Wichita team, is a leader of one of the campus orchestras. p. 3 -- Tom Kornhaus, Shocker half back is playing his final year of varsity competition this year. p. 3 -- Gerherdt Eikermann, former end and now playing tackle is one of the biggest men in the Shocker lineup. "Big Eik" weighs over 200 pounds and is six foot three inches tall. Eikermann is a member of the basketball and track teams. p. 3 -- Miss Virginia Throckmorton is in charge of the Sorosis pledge party which will be held a the Wichita Country Club Saturday evening. p. 5 -- With Alpha Taus: Miss Geraldine Lansdowne is chairman of the Alpha Tau Sigma sorority pledge party at the Wichita Country Club Friday night. p. 5 -- Shocker punter: Orville Ward, Shocker full is playing his second year in the Wichita lineup. p. 6 -- Oklahoma coach: Theodore "Toby" Green, director of athletics at Oklahoma City University, has taken over his new duties this year and will lead the Goldbug football squad against the Wichita Shockers tonight in Oklahoma City. p. 6 -- From North Dakota: C. C. Finnegan is coach and athletic director at North Dakota State a school which is sending a tough team against the Shockers in Wichita next month. p. 6
