Photograph(s): The jinx stirs from its tomb and walks abroad for a day when ancient rivals meet in the annual Southwestern-Wichita football game. The spirit of the jinx will accompany the Wichita warriors in their attempt to avenge past defeats at the hands of their arch rivals. This picture is a reproduction of an old photograph of the sacred stone. p. 1 -- Captain of girls unit: Miss Alberta Bainbridge is captain of then Girls' Drill team of the University for the coming year. Miss Bainbridge, a member of Alpha Tau Sigma, is also a member of the Girls' Rifle team. p. 3 -- Southwestern college football celebrities: Four reasons why Southwestern college believes that the Jinx will live again this year. From left to right they are: Ernest Radford, two letter guard; Dick Baitzell, considered one of the most dangerous triple threat-men ever developed at the Builder school; Bern Parker, star end, and Martin Ossowski, fast heavy tackle. These players have been the mainstays of the Builder eleven during the 1931 season both on defense and the offensive. p. 4
