Photograph(s): Bananas were the main topic of conversation at the CAC Monday when contestants set out to prove they could consume an ample supply of this particular fruit in the CAC Banana Eating Contest. Jerry Parrott, right, seems to be asking Les Fiechtner to “pass him another.” These two did not last long however, as they were the first to be disqualified. Jerry Pierce and Kerry Gray were the winning team members, eating a total of 40 bananas in one hour. / Curt Lewis. p. 1 -- Richard Finney was recently elected new Black Student Union resident.
