Bates, a journalism student at Wichita State, is pictured conducting an interview with Vice President Spiro Agnew in Agnew's hotel suite during his visit to Wichita. p. 1 -- City police officers escorted this youth and twelve others across the street to jail after a disturbance broke out at a CSR sponsored Anti-Agnew Rally near Century II Thursday. The youths were later released on bond.
