A renovated facility provides a new home for an outsized branch music library and an underutilized language lab in a new partnership on campus. A committee is formed, compromises are made, and the project is realized in less than a year and a half. The timing of the planning and processing, the justification for maintaining a collection of printed scores, the incorporation of language materials, staffing, and shared governance are all discussed to provide a precedent and guidance for future academic mergers.en_US
