dc.description.abstractAccording to the American Cancer Society, 231,840 new cases were diagnosed with invasive breast cancer and approximately 40,290 women died in the United States in 2015. The selection of an effective treatment plan for breast cancer highly depends on critical factors such as the stage of the cancer (e.g., non-metastasis, metastasis), risk factors related to breast cancer, patient-related risks, menopausal status, and the comorbidity condition of the patient. In this paper, we determine the criteria for oncologists and patients to select the best breast cancer therapy plan. We review and analyze the literature in order to develop the evaluation model. We also discuss the analytical hierarchy process (AHP) method for determining the most effective breast cancer treatment strategy.en_US
