The fifth commencement program included invocation part featuring dissertation by Jennie Lynn Cox, Ruth Eleanor Graves, Elizabeth Shattuck, Thomas Edwin Burton, Vera Edna Taft, Mary Ellen Jobes, Florence Clark Sample; oration by Annie Mabel Jobes, Lynette Furley, Muriel Elizabeth Finn, Stephen Gilbert Nease, Almeda Elizabeth Cook, Grace Doty, Harold R. Morrison; music performances by Fairmount College Womans’ Glee Club, and Professor Ellenberger. Conferring of degrees followed. College chorus performance had started and concluded the program.
