Minutes: Summary of action: 1. Accepted amendments to the definition of the Department Administration Electorate and to be forwarded to the General Faculty -- 2. Referred to Academic Affairs a request to recheck the spring semester schedule so that finals would be over prior to Graduation -- 3. Accepted the annual reports of the following Faculty Senate Standing Committees: General Education; Rules; Scholarship & Student Aid; Tenure & Promotion; Library; Executive -- (Informal statements and proposals): a. Presentation on theatrical performance and its implications for a community on April 26th -- b. Request that the VPAA recheck the spring semester schedule so that in the future finals are over before graduation -- c. Faculty hire has been made in Modern Languages of a lecturer versus an assistant professor -- (President's report): April KBOR Meeting: a. President Beggs made a strong statement regarding performance on goals -- b. Qualified Admissions program is not working -- c.
