Dr. Gary L.Miller joined the University in June of 2006. As Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs and Research, he developed a new vision of Wichita State as urban serving university and is leading the University community through changes and transformation to the accomplishment of this prestigious goal until 2011 when he left WSU to become chancellor of the University of North Carolina Wilmington.
