Abstract
The purpose of this paper is to analyze, compare, and contrast the different methodologies and data collection techniques of Franz Boas and Bronislaw Malinowski. Both of these men were and still are extremely prominent and important anthropological figures, and their influences within the field of anthropology are invaluable. Through these explanations, one will realize and begin to understand the different schools of thought (American and British primarily) and how and why they influence perceptions still to this day.
