Photograph(s): Another ballot...: Hundreds of students turned out to cast their ballots for the queen of their choice. Betty Cadman, of the Shocker Coalition cast her ballot also. Miss Cadman was defeated by Norma Jean Haley, the University Coalition candidate. p. 1 -- Vocalist Shirley Moore. p. 1 -- Queen: Norma Haley was the student's choice for Homecoming Queen, elected Friday, in a hotly contested all school election. She will reign over the twenty-eighth annual Homecoming festivities. Miss Haley was the University Coalition Candidate. p. 1 -- Keeping in touch...Keeping in touch with former students and graduates the University of Wichita is one of many duties performed by Miss Beulah Mullen, Secretary of the Alumni Association, and her three assistants. They are, left to right: Mary Helen Young, Anne Harris, Nancy Baugh, and Miss Beulah Mullen. p. 4 -- Little Eddie: Eddie Kriwiel will be playing his final homecoming game before fans Saturday in Veterans Field. At present Eddie is leading the Shocker squad in ground gaining statistics. p. 5 -- Vice President Alben W. Barkley. p. 6 -- Freshman passer...: Gordon Gotts, quarterback, leads the freshmen team in passing, with 26 attempts and 16 completions.
