Abstract
This report is a stratigraphic and structural investigation of the Devonian System in the Vincent Gas Storage Field. The study of core descriptions, electric logs, rock cuttings, and geological data has provided information concerning the following topics:
1. the detailed stratigraphy of the Devonian System;
2. the structural geology of this system;
3. conclusions on the stratigraphic relationships and structural development of the Vincent anticline.
The wealth of information available and the need for detailed studies of the subsurface in North Central Iowa stimulated the research and the preparation of this thesis.
