Description
This letter concerns the Venezuelan boundary question and Walker being sent there to look after American commerce and interests. He mentions a "war of intrigue rather than bloodshed," and General Crespo, stating that he is at the head of the revolution and regarding as one of the best men with a large following with more troops than the government de facto. Other topics are discussed.
