Minutes: Summary of action: A. It was decided that the Senate will meet every Monday this spring until its accumulation of business is finished -- B. The Senate heard the report by Sam Yeager, chair of the Faculty Support Committee, about the criteria and procedures for granting the Regents' new Professor of the Year Award, adopted a friendly amendment to add "librarianship" to the criteria, and tabled the matter -- C. The proposal from the Senate Executive Committee relating to General Education was discussed on first reading -- (President's report): 1. Report on the decision of the Senate Executive Committee to hold Senate meetings weekly for the rest of the spring until the accumulated business, including General Education proposal, is completed -- (Old business): A.
