Before her graduation she was prominent on the University campus, being selected Honorary Colonel in 1935. p. 1 -- Ver Weibe. p. 1 -- Gray is air hostess: Marjorie Gray, '39, has completed the required training in the air hostess school for Braniff Airways at Dallas and has been awarded her wings. p. 2 -- Betty Coea [sic]: Martha Barrett, selected as Betty Coed Tuesday evening by members of Alpha Gamma Gamma fraternity, will be feted by them and be guest of honor at all their social functions the remainder of the school year. p. 3 -- Former editor weds: Announcement was made last week of the secret marriage of Mary Evelyn Brincefield to Ray L. Ellis, July 15. Mrs. Ellis was editor of the Sunflower last year and prominent in journalism activities. p. 3 -- Fullback Lynch: Frank Lynch, starting fullback for the Ravens, is one of the many valuable regulars on the St. Benedict's squad who will be question marked until game time because of injuries. p. 4 -- Earl Abbott. p. 4
