Description

These are letters written by Ernest Perceval dated from September 7, 1855 to September 14. 1855. They address such topics as French attacking Malakoff with 40,000 men, and a reserve of 20,000; reporting that he is safe to his mother; the death of Lockhart; particulars about the 8th division, a rough plan about the coming battle; the taking of the Russians by surprise, and other topics.
