Abstract
It was the problem of this study to identity the extrinsic factors responsible for developing trends conducive to integration in Mitchell County, Texas. and to determine what factors contribute to its momentum. The purpose or this study was: first, to discover specific voluntary situations that manifest positive trends toward integration in Mitchell County; second, to reveal the existence of good relationship between Negro and white citizens or the County that symbolizes trends or integration; and third, to present the attitudes of permanent citizens or the County, who can promote or reject voluntary integration of the minority peoples of Mitchell County. extrinsic factors responsible for developing trends conducive to integration in Mitchell County, Texas. and to determine what factors contribute to its momentum.
