Graffiti Mural, July 2006

Graffiti mural on west and south walls of Elektrik Chair Tattoo Shop, 1201 East Douglas Avenue, Wichita. Series of seven images shows mural titled "Cereal Killers" from north to south along Laura Street and east on alley south of building. Artist incorporates cartoon mascots used by Kellogg's and General Mills to promote breakfast cereal to children. Franken Berry, Toucan Sam of Froot Loops, Lucky the Leprechaun of Lucky Charms, Count Chocula, the Trix rabbit and Pop of Rice Krispies' Snap, Crackle and Pop are depicted. Photographer noted graffiti was fifth or sixth "redo" on same wall. Graffiti along alley does not continue theme. Date of images: July 4, 2006.
