Description
This letter from a committee of the Managers of the 28th Annual Anti-Slavery Subscription Anniversary, signed by Lydia Maria Child, Helen Benson Garrison, and Mary May, is addressed to "Dear Friend" and states that this group is a committee of the Managers of the 28th Annual Anti-Slavery Subscription Anniversary being held in Boston in January. Also mentioned is Mrs. Maria Weston Chapman as co-adjutor. They also write of a petition to Congress for signatures by the people to assemble in early December.
