The group will take charge of their own commencement activities, and so guest speaker will appear on the program. p. 1 -- Their president: A girl: According to E. J. Gard, principal, the senior class of the Garden Plain High School will be graduated on the evening of May 23 at 8 p.m. Eileen Leis is the president of the class and is one of the few girl presidents in the county's high schools. p. 2 -- Beauty Queen: Florence Fitzwilliam, Epsilon Kappa Rho, was selected by Paramount Studio as the most beautiful of the of the five candidates of the campus sororities. Miss Fitzwilliam's fulll length picture will appear in the year's Parnassus. The competing candidates are Jean Foote, Alpha Tau Sigma; Elaine McEwen, Sorosis; Virginia Quigley, Delta Omega; and Emmadean Orvis, Pi Kappa Psi. p. 3 -- To initiate new auditorium: Mulvane's new auditorium will be will be the scene this year of the commencement exercises of the Mulvane High School senior class, above. The event will be May 21 at 6 p.m. p. 4 -- Clearwater attracts neighbors: In commencement activities to be held in the evening of May 24, the seniors of Clearwater High School, above, will receive their diplomas. The senior class is made up of students of Conway Springs and Peck as well as from Clearwater. p. 4 -- Less than two weeks: Four boys and three girls will be graduated in the senior class of the Viola High School, above on May 18, at 8 p.m. Arrangements were made by A. I. Seely, superintendent of the school. John Porter is the president of the group. p. 4 -- A popular Wichita girl, Jo Anne Alyward, above, is president of the Mt. Carmel High School graduating seniors. Services for the girls will be held in the latter part of this month. p. 4 -- Jacob Lochamp, above, president of the senior class of Cathedral High School, will take a leading part in their graduation exercises when the senior class holds commencement the latter part of this month. p. 4 -- Derby High School seniors: Seniors of the Derby High School, above, will be graduated at exercises to be held on the evening of May 20, at 8 P.M. Samuel Austin is president of the graduating class. p. 5 -- Their banquet in Wichita: Tomorrow evening's junior-senior banquet will close the social calendar for the Goddard seniors, above, who will be graduated May 19. The banquet is to be held in the Innes Tea Room, Wichita. p. 5 -- Maize to graduate 25: Diplomas will be handed to each of the 25 seniors of the Maize High School, above, during commencement exercises to be held the evening of May 25 in the school auditorium. p. 5 -- To hear Chief Wilson: Wichita's Chief of Police O.
