Minutes: (Informal Statements and Proposals): Senator Williams reminded Senators about the survey -- (Approval of minutes): September 26, 2022 -- (President's Report): Senators wanted to follow up on why University is not providing an annual report on faculty dismissals -- Volunteers requested for the Service Recognition Awards -- Agenda for KBOR visit -- (Committee Reports): Rules Committee / Jolynn Dowling, Chair -- Rules committee nominated a senator to fill vacancy and made appointment to committee vacancies -- (New Business): WSU Foundation and Alumni / Mike Lamb, VP of WSU Foundation -- The Foundation and Alumni Association have merged -- Foundation's main priority has been discussed -- Overview of the university budget cycle / David Miller, University Budget Director -- BeoShock HPC governance structure / Terrance Figy, Director of BeoShock HPC -- (As May Arise): Senator Billingham noted KBOR is visiting and inquired if faculty involvement is required -- Senator Rai shared that the Kansas Secretary of Agriculture will be giving a talk at WSU on November 1
