The activities of these five young sorority ladies during the thirteen days of Christmas recess are sure to be as varied as those of the other Shockers. With Santa Claus scheduled to Ieave the north pole soon, students and family members of the University are making ready for his visit. Caught in the act of anticipation here are left to right, Miss Katherine Ann Emory, Alpha Tau Sigma; Miss Iona Hall, Delta Omega, Miss Nadine Cotton, Epsilon Kappa Rho; Miss Eleanor Cocororan, Sorosis; and Miss Margaret Hayes, Pi Kappa Psi. p. 1 -- On Sorosis formal committee: Miss Virginia McCoy is on the committee which is in charge of the arrangements for the Sorosis formal dinner dance to be given this evening in the ballroom of the Broadview Hotel. p. 3 -- Fraternity hostess: Mrs. J. W. Vaniman is housemother of the Alpha Gamma Gamma fraternity and she will act as hostess when the members of the fraternity preside at their formal dinner dance December 22. p. 3
