Abstract
Joan Miro's Personnages Oiseaux (Bird People) has proudly adorned the entrance to the Ulrich Museum of Art since its dedication pictured here - on October 31, 1978. Miro was excited about the opportunity to display his art at a university because of its huge population year-round. Because of its careful restoration from 2011-2016, Miro's mural will continue to inspire over 600,000 annual visitors to campus every year.
