Description
Dan Glickman Scrapbook 2 contains material from Glickman’s second term as a member of the U.S. House of Representatives from Kansas’s 4th district in the 96th Congress. The selections include: a photograph of Glickman at the Palm Restaurant in Washington, D.C., campaign publicity and fundraising documents, and material from the Office of the White House Press Secretary. There are numerous publications, which include articles from ‘‘News from Dan Glickman,’’ Glickman's ‘‘Reports to the Fourth,’’ and the ‘‘Congressional Record.’’ These scrapbook selections also contain correspondence. The correspondence selections include: an October 31, 1978 letter to Rhoda and Dan Glickman from President Jimmy Carter; a November 10, 1978 letter to Milton and Gladys Glickman from Pat Lehman; and an October 12, 1979 letter Dan Glickman from President Jimmy Carter. This scrapbook was compiled by Gladys Glickman, mother of Dan Glickman.
